Banana Loaf

Cream together:

3 c. white sugar

1 1/2 c. softened margarine

Add and mix well:

4 eggs

Add alternatively with milk

3/4 c. buttermilk or sour milk

3/4 tsp salt

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1 1/2 tsp baking soda

4 c. flour

Add and mix until blended

2 1/2 c. banana

Form into loaves and bake at 375 for 45-60 mins

Cinnamon Loaf

Mix:

½ c. marg.

4 eggs

2 tsp. baking powder

2 c. white sugar

2 c. sour cream or buttermilk

3 c. flour

Topping:

1 c. dessicated coconut

1 c. brown sugar

2 T. cinnamon

Grease 2 pans well

Put ¼ c. topping in each pan

Put ¼ of batter in each pan.

Sprinkle with good amount of topping

Rest over top.

Bake at 350 for 50-60 min. You can glaze it with icing …

Blend together:

1 3/4 c. flour, 1/2 c. oil, 1/2 c. cold water and 1 tsp baking powder

Mix together:

1 1/3 c. warm water + 1/2 c. brown sugar + 2 tsp yeast + 1/2 tsp salt

Add:

2 beaten eggs + 1/4 c. oil + 4 c. flour (2c. white & 2 c. whole weat)

Knead your dough.

Let rise for about one and a half hours or until it has doubled its size.

Punch down.

Let rise for one hour.

Form into buns or a loaf (remember why you put yeast in it…), let rise for … 15-30 min. and bake for about 25 minutes at 350.

Mix together until yeast is dissolved (10 min):

 

1/2 c. warm water + 1 1/2 Tbs yeast + 1tsp sugar

Add to the mixture:

6 beaten eggs

1/2 c. sugar

1/2 c. butter

1/2 c. oil

1 tsp salt

3 c. milk

10-11 c. flour

Knead until smooth and elastic then let rise until double

Punch down and let it rise

Shape into loaves (or whatever you feel like) and bake at 400 for 15 min. then lower at 350 and bake for 45 min.

DON’T FORGET TO GLAZE WITH PASKA ICING!
